Job Description:

Responsibilities

Tasks include:

  • Maintain detailed records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory
  • Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of dishes
  • Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for banquets or private events
  • Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
  • Prepare and cook meals regularly and for special guests or functions
  • Create dishes tailored for customers with food allergies or intolerances
  • Train staff in safe and efficient food preparation, cooking, and handling procedures
