Overview
F & S Logistics Limited is looking for reliable and motivated Long Haul Truck Drivers to join our growing team. This role involves transporting goods across various locations while ensuring safety, efficiency, and timely delivery.
Job Responsibilities
- Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment, global positioning systems (GPS) equipment, or other navigation devices, to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions
- Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
- Load and unload goods
- Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
- Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
- Perform brake adjustments
- Perform emergency roadside repairs
- Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
- Perform preventive maintenance
- Receive and relay information to central dispatch
- Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
- Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
Requirements
Education:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience:
- 7 months to less than 1 year
Licensing:
Work Conditions

- Handling loads up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
